The Return of the Dissolute Son

by Ian Douglas Robertson

Jason B, celebrity and artistic director of the National Theatre, has been accused of a heinous crime. Within hours, he is besieged by reporters and paparazzi. He seeks refuge at the home of his former drama teacher. Patrick G is in two minds whether to harbour his ex-student. However, he decides he cannot abandon him in his hour of need.

“The crowd roared as the teams came back on to the field. Frank would have to wait for another lull to put forward his objections. It was so bloody unfair. He had spent five years looking over his shoulder, taking part in activities that made him sick. He deserved a rest. What if he said no, what could McCready do then?”
